Tankard

Tankards are encountered in a general area in continental Greece and Anatolia throughout the Early Bronze Age II-III. Thought to be used as beverage cups, tankards had either one or two handles. The only metal example from Anatolia is a silver tankard that had been found in Troas in the Western Anatolia region and dated to the Early Bronze Age II. The metal samples are tought to be produced as terracotta imitations.
